If anyone's interested I had the opportunity to cast a 7 1/2 foot Walton Powell taper this weekend at the Denver show (thanks again to Mark Metcalf). What a rocket! I'm a pathetic caster and was able to make the last ring in the casting pool with absolutely no effort. If anyone's interested in the taper I was able to mic the rod. Let me know and I'll post it.
