Hi List,

I just picked up an Uslan 8014 in a trade and I thought some of you (Bill
"Trirod" Fink) might be interested in the taper. The rod is 8' 2/2 and throws a
nice 4wt with a medium-fast type action (closer to medium than medium-fast):

2" - 0.079
5" - 0.100
10" - 0.128
15" - 0.148
20" - 0.162
25" - 0.172
30" - 0.186
35" - 0.202
40" - 0.228
45" - 0.234
50" - 0.218
55" - 0.233
60" - 0.260
65" - 0.265
70" - 0.281
75" - 0.290
80" - 0.298
85" - 0.300
86' - 0.301

Measurements are apex to flat, and the rod is impregnated so no deduction for
finish is needed. The measurements at the 50" & 55" stations are correct as
I measured all around that area and it seems that Nat Uslan decided to make
the rod that way.
