All,
The taper here is an EXACT COPY of that use by Sharpe to produce
the Lee Wulfe 'Ultimate' and has been copied from an original taper
sheet( copied ) that I have that was signed by Sharpe himself.I make no
apologies for the lack of detail ( the taper is not at the usual 5" or
6" stations) but taken from the rig they used to set up their miller .

Rod Length 5' 10 1/4",weight 1 5/8 oz

0"		.080
17 1/2"		.1275
35"		.175
52 1/2"		.2225
70"		.270

Ring sizes and spacings from tip being as follows;

Tip Ring 	0"
Size 1		4"
Size 1		9"
Size 1		14 3/4"
Size 2		20 1/2"
Size 2		26 3/4"
Size 2		34"
Butt Ring	44"

Cork Handle 	7 1/2"
The sheet I have has  a note at the bottom that reads;
"Handle shape etc as 6' 2 piece Midge.

If my memory serves me correct the reel seat was two sliding bands on
the rod I once looked at ?

That said, what about that tip dimension......thick or what ?

Tight lines..........Paul
