On April 4th I fished the Milwaukee River accross from Estabrook Park area 4. The River is still high and the water murky. I didn't see any steelhead, only lots of carp.
A passerby told me there were PCB contamination wasrnings posted on the other side of the river.
Wading into the river is possible on the south side of the river- I wore a life jacket. Not venturing far into the river, I fished with spinning gear and only snaged a carp.
