I got some nice bluegills and a couple crappies in Hunters Lake this AM, from about 9:30-11:30. The south wind made it hard to handle the canoe, so I stayed close to the creek mouth at the north end. The fish were in the NE corner of the lake, just E of the creek mouth. A white girdle bug with a red bead worked.
