I went up to Cabelas today. It's a large store comparable to Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee. Nothing on sale there right now but we might expect some specials for their grand opening.
A pleasant surprise for me was the airplane hanging from the ceiling. It's a 1947 Aeronca Champion just like the one I owned in 1964-1965.
On the way back I took another look at Estabrook Park. I was able to spot a couple salmon struggling against the fall. Met one fisherman with spinning gear He said he caught 4 counting one he took today.
