I saw a big hatch of adult mayflies on Lake Emily in Florence county. This one caught me by surprise. Unfortunately, Emily has no trout. This hatch was earlier than I thought. It occurred at sunset, but was over well before darkness set in.
This was last Saturday, May 26th.
