The current issue of FlyFisherman Mag has a good article on the Jackson Hole Area and the Snake river, page 48. I was there 5 years ago and I would contact Jack Dennis Sports, jackdennis.com, 800-570-3270.
Also if you get the chance try to fish the "Greys River" just outside of Alpine Jct. This is about thirty miles South of Jackson Hole. We stayed at the Best Western, in Alpine, as the prices in Jackson were through the roof, $275.00 per night/per two. If you find a better deal please let me know as I am going back out there next year.
Make sure you have GRASSHOPPERS...!!! I fish out West every year and August is Hopper time.
