: Over several years I have acquired 3 sets of waders and all leak now. Can somone refresh my memory on how to fix leaks?
: My most recent waders are hodgmans breathable with neoprene feet. The right foot gets wet after wading for some time. The leak might or might not be in the black neoprene foot area.

First step is to find our where the leak is located...go into a dark room and place a placing a flashlight into the waders...look for lighted area...mark it...then patch it with some Aquaseal or other waterproof glue. Another thought is to check the instructions that came with the waders..they may have other directions/ideas...many time waders come with kits to patch the holes/leaks. A year or two ago one of the club speakers talked about the care and maintenance of waders. His idea was to take some rubbing alcohol and wide the suspected leaky area (believe this was on the inside of the waders) and look for an area to turn dark. Not sure if this works on brands other than Simms. Let me know how this works.
