Had a late cancellation and headed to the river by the Esterbrook Park. One other fellow was there then 2 others came. The fellow said he was there couple hours and had 2 on and landed one. I had no thermometer, so could not tell the temp. Almost got run over by suckers.
I had fairly good luck. Had 6 on and landed 4. No net (lost it last time, too small anyway) so “beached them all”. All were very fresh around 8 to 15 pounds. Kept a couple for the nurses. Great day.
Used a black and red wooly on a 5 foot 10 pound leader. My fumbling must have been at the right rhythm today.
