A while ago someone asked about trout in lake beulah.
I was on Lake Beulah over the weekend and spotted a brown tout in about 2 ft of water. The fish was about 14" long and appeared to be in good health except that it was in very warm water ,75 degrees. I have since found out that the DNR stocks 1,000 9" browns every year. Its a big lake and 1,000 trout arent many in a lake of that size. I dont know how long the DNR has been stocking the lake or if there is any natural reproduction. I do know that the lake does have cisco which would seem to show it could support some trout.
