Don,
Sorry I'm a little late addressing this but I just got back from a week in
the land of no email (China). Here is another 8013 set of numbers. This from a
1947, 8013 that I measured 2 weeks ago. This rod was on the classic rod rack at
last years Grayrock and SRG.The guys who cast it might chime in an opinion on
how it casts.            Over varnish
0 = .079, 5 = .093, 10 = .104, 15 = .116, 20 = .129, 25 = .144, 30 = .161, 35
= .175, 40 = .186, 45 = .203, 50 = .229, 55 = .247, 60.5 = .265, 65 = 282,
70.75 = .301, 75 = .312, 80 = .324, 84.5 = 360 grip
Guides are at 3, 7 1/2, 12 1/2, 18, 24, 30 1/2, 37, 44 1/8, 49 1/2, 60, 70

I also measured a 1949, 8014 that was on last years classic rack also...Over
varnish
0 = .082, 5 = .091, 10 = .094, 15 = .120, 20 = .137, 25 = .151, 30 = .165, 35
= .180, 40 = .193, 45 = .208, 50.25 = .237, 55 = .252, 60 = .268, 65 = .284,
70.25 = .299, 75 = .311, 80 = .321, 85 = .373
Guides at 4 1/8, 9 3/4, 16 3/8, 23, 29 1/2, 36 1/4, 43 1/8, 49 1/2, 59 1/4,
69 1/2

If you count the guides you will find 11 on the 8013 and 10 on the 8014...the
rods are original that's what Mr Dickerson put on these two rods.
